POSITION: MID-LEVEL/SENIOR DESIGNER

Location: SF Bay Area, hybrid role
Monika Kaplan Design is a small, high-end residential interior design studio located in Marin County, just outside of San Francisco. We are looking to add a Mid-Level or Senior Interior Designer to our team who is interested in growing their role in a rapidly developing design studio. In this role, you would be responsible for delivering detailed and accurate technical and construction drawings, interior elevations as well as developing renderings for design presentations and builder accuracy. You will work directly with the principal designer on multiple projects at a time.
This role is a part-time, contract role with the possibility of evolving to full time. To be considered, you MUST be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Client and vendor facing activities including project meetings, sourcing, project management and installations.

QUALIFICATIONS - MUST BE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA BASED

• 4+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design.
• Highly skilled in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Suite & Google Workspace
• Extensive knowledge of construction documentation and architectural detailing.- Confident leading client & contractor meetings while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a remote work environment.
• A discerning design eye with a deep understanding of materials, finishes, and luxury furnishings.
