We have an opening for a Mid- to Senior-level Geologist in our Irvine, California office. Come join our team! Responsibilities: Managing small to regional multi-disciplined projects. Developing and implementing technical approaches for completing site characterization activities. Preparing written proposals, managing project budgets and subcontractors, and communicating with project managers, clients, and regulators. Providing technical training and support to staff. Qualifications Professional registration in California as a Geologist (PG) is required. 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience. Ability to work in the Irvine Office. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology or similar. Experience with completing fieldwork and managing projects subject to regulatory review and oversight in California. Knowledgeable with California and Federal environmental regulations, including but not limited to waste characterization/disposal, DWR CA Well Standards, RCRA, and CERCLA. Extensive experience managing and overseeing environmental investigations and drilling programs and sampling various types of environmental media. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment both in the field and in the office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
