POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ICR is a rapidly growing employee-owned company focused on solving the hardest problems for the US Government. Join our Sensor to Shooter application development team to create the next generation of technologies and systems to protect our nation.
As part of a small, innovative team, you will provide Systems Engineering leadership for a team of software developers to deliver Sensor to Shooter applications in support of customer-funded programs to deliver deployed solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility
  • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and use of associated tools
  • 10+ years of experience as an systems engineer supporting the development of software systems for Government programs
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
  • Proven track record of success supporting the Government and/or Prime Contractors to deliver operational systems

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong systems engineering and technical management skills
  • Experience building strategic plans, roadmaps, and future program plans
  • Use of JIRA and Confluence for managing agile development for programs
  • Experience working with a variety of customers across the DOD and IC
    Salary Range: $123,219 - $236,579

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Customers and stakeholders
  • Work closely with customers and development teams to plan and develop features, deliverables, cost estimates, and development schedules for new projects
  • Work with end users and the customer to understand current and future requirements for the program
  • Troubleshoot, reproduce, and triage software issues as they arise
  • Development of mission use cases and test cases to support software development
  • Development of scripts to aid in the troubleshooting and testing of software
  • Development and maintenance of CDRLs
  • Development and delivery of presentations for Customers and program stakeholders
  • Development and maintenance of program documentation
  • Work with the team on planning and strategy for new initiatives
  • Work with the program to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
  • Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner
  • Collaborate with members of the program team as well as team members outside of the program to efficiently execute across programs
