Description We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Stream Sales Representative to originate, negotiate, and close both spot and term sales of refined gasoline products from pipeline, waterborne, and truck-rack positions. This role is responsible for cultivating wholesale, commercial, and reseller relationships; optimizing liftings against contract volumes and terminal inventory; and collaborating closely with Supply & Logistics to maximize margins while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include brokered gallons, paper-only deals, and wet transaction agreements. Key Responsibilities A. Revenue Generation Build and manage a significant, profitable book of refined gasoline sales Develop pricing strategies leveraging OPIS/Argus indexes, basis differentials, and terminal fee structures Source new offtake opportunities through prospecting, trade events, and industry networks Manage a robust sales funnel and deal pipeline utilizing CRM and tracking platforms B. Account Management Maintain deep relationships with wholesalers, jobbers, and retail chains Serve as primary commercial contact for customer account concerns Draft and structure term deals with clear volume/grade specifications, lift schedules, and credit terms Conduct regular business reviews and track customer performance C. Market Intelligence Monitor Gulf Coast and New York Harbor spot markets, pipeline allocations, and seasonal demand shifts Provide timely insights to supply and hedging teams Recommend position adjustments based on market conditions D. Deal Execution Draft confirmations and negotiate Terms & Conditions Ensure counterparty credit approval prior to execution Coordinate with schedulers on ratable liftings, batch nominations, and terminal swaps Resolve delivery variances, quality claims, and demurrage disputes E. Reporting & Compliance Capture and record deals in CRM systems accurately and promptly Ensure adherence to FERC, EPA RFS, and state fuel-tax regulations File required documentation in a timely manner F.
