OVERVIEW:

B-Hive is the in-house creative agency for Boots, bringing to life the visual identity and creative needs of some of the most recognisable names in the beauty industry — including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle, and Boots own brands.
We offer the agility, speed, and brand understanding of an internal team, paired with the quality and versatility of a high-performing creative agency. We are passionate about great ideas, pixel-perfect execution, and creative that delivers impact both in-store and online.
We’re looking for a Midweight Designer & Artworker who is confident producing high-quality print design and finished artwork across a wide variety of formats — from in-store communications and packaging to print ads and marketing collateral.
This is a hybrid creative and technical role, ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented and passionate about bringing beautiful, functional design to life through faultless execution.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Creative Lead and Lead Designers to deliver high-quality creative across print and digital formats, with a particular focus on in-store comms, packaging and other printed assets.
  • Take approved design concepts and create multiple sizes, layouts, and adaptations for different placements and formats.
  • Prepare and format final artwork files for various channels, ensuring all assets meet the required technical specifications.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of print production techniques, colour management, finishes, and stock — delivering press-ready artwork that meets brand standards and technical requirements.
  • Support the design team by creating templates, building asset libraries and maintaining efficient file structures and naming conventions.
  • Maintain high quality control on all outgoing files, checking layout, typography, alignment, consistency, and production details.
  • Make copy amends, layout tweaks and design updates to existing artwork or templates.
  • Optimise artwork for digital platforms, including web and email formats, ensuring strong cross-channel performance.
  • Support asset management, archiving, and version control to keep everything organised and accessible.
  • Collaborate across departments — including client management, marketing and production — to ensure smooth and timely delivery of all assets.
