An exciting opportunity has arisen for a versatile and imaginative Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join a growing design-led studio in Chelford, Cheshire.
Clarkson Bespoke are seeking a passionate, detail-driven designer who combines creativity with strong technical ability and is ready to take on greater project responsibility.
Specialising in high-end residential projects, Clarkson Bespoke has built a strong reputation in the industry, operating from a small and friendly studio in Chelford. This role is perfect for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a refined design sensibility, and a genuine passion for interiors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design (preferred but not essential) or 3–4 years’ residential design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), SketchUp (or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved at every stage
  • A keen eye for detail, materials, and finishes
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Responsibilities
  • Prepare mood boards, sample boards, and client presentations
  • Source and procure FF&E, materials, finishes, and samples
  • Create and update specification schedules and purchase orders
  • Produce CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and layouts
  • Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to obtain quotes and lead times
  • Attend site visits and installations, assisting with measurements, snagging, and styling
  • Drive the design narrative across all project stages, from concept to completion
  • Maintain accurate project documents, spreadsheets, and timelines
