Position Summary:  Under general direction, this position’s primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as relates to assigned portfolio loans together with the cross selling of Bank products and services. Additional responsibilities will include the facilitating of comprehensive credit analysis that evaluates the existing facilities in the portfolio. The loan portfolio shall consist of all types of middle market clients (C&I commercial loans at $5 million and above/ business revenue in excess of $25 million)  including but not limited to lines of credit, term notes, permanent owner occupied mortgages, and/ or commercial construction.   Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the middle market loan originating function; assist with loan application processing tasks,  e.g.,     obtain required information; compiling data; coordinating the procurement of require documents; verifying credit information; notifying sales personnel of credit information deficiencies; performing credit  analysis; may approve commercial loans within established lending authority.   Qualifications: * College degree with a major in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience. Three or more years’ experience in a credit-underwriting environment is desired. * Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relationship skills; extensive typing ability; strong organizational skills; superior oral communication skills; demonstrated personal computer skills with the ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs; ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment; willing and qualified to serve as a notary public. * Recognized work experience in analyzing and interpreting basic financial statements and tax returns; underwriting principles and regulatory requirements. * Demonstrated competency developing solutions to basic credit related issues. * Exhibit a sound knowledge of all aspects of lending and financial accounting.
