JOB DESCRIPTION

ShortPoint is looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our international team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality of a product used by leading enterprises around the world.

Proven experience in web and mobile automation testing.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Good understanding of browser behavior, HTTP, and DOM.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, WDIO, and Selenium Webdriver.
  • Familiarity with Mocha, Chai, Selenoid, and Selenium Grid tools.
  • Strong skills in test design and writing clear, structured test cases.
  • Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP/GraphQL).
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficient with Git and version control systems.
  • Comfortable working in distributed teams and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications.
  • Automate functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Work with Playwright, WDIO, and Selenoid.
  • Write and maintain tests using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
  • Design and document test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Perform API testing (REST/HTTP), including automation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Analyze failures, log defects, and contribute to improved test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers.
