Description Position Title: Middle School Girls’ Volleyball Head Coach Location: WSCA Campus Job Type: 1099 Contractor Reports To: Athletic Director Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Coach for our Middle School Girls' Volleyball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching volleyball at the middle or high school level, with a focus on fostering skill development, teamwork, and a positive team culture. The Head Coach will be responsible for planning and executing effective training sessions, strategizing game plans, and providing leadership both on and off the court. Qualifications & Desired Attributes: Professes a strong Christian faith in Jesus Christ and demonstrates regular attendance at a Bible-believing church aligned with the CSAGH Statement of Faith. Exhibits a clear commitment to Christian Education and a wholehearted embrace of CSAGH's vision. Self-motivated, dynamic, well-organized, and adaptable individual with a genuine desire to connect with, nurture, and minister to students and athletes. Cultivates healthy and positive relationships with athletes, parents, colleagues, and school administration. Willingness to participate in professional development and training as required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive and age-appropriate volleyball program for middle school players. Plan, organize, and conduct engaging and progressive practice sessions to enhance individual skills and team dynamics. Instill a commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among team members. Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and overall performance. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes a sense of belonging. Collaborate with HS Volleyball coaches to ensure a coordinated and supportive coaching staff. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, school administration, and the broader community. Attend all required meetings, conferences, and training sessions as mandated by the school and athletic department. Ensure compliance with all school, district, and league policies and regulations. Requirements Qualifications: Previous coaching experience, preferably at the middle or high school level. Strong knowledge of volleyball strategies, techniques, and rules. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their full potential. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. Passion for promoting the overall well-being and development of student-athletes. Physical Requirements: The ability to stand, sit, move around the court for extended periods, Lifting, bending, and carrying classroom materials and supplies. Operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and listen regularly.
