Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Middle School Teacher of Mathematics to join our school for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ideal applicant is someone who is dedicated to both student development and academic success, who infuses their teaching with creativity, and who cultivates a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create, deliver, and evaluate lessons in accordance with the curriculum and state standards.
  • Establish and maintain a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations.
  • Establish and maintain communication with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date class records, including attendance logs and grade computations.
  • Attend weekly PLC meetings to actively collaborate with educational team.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Support school events such as field trips, parent engagement nights, and other activities meant to foster a sense of community.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess a valid NJ Teaching Certificate – Standard, CEAS/CE, or Limited CE in appropriate grade level and/or content area.
  • Must pass criminal history background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field.
