Responsibilities

As our Middle School Science Teacher, you will:

  • Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
  • Deliver rigorous, relevant instruction in science, including hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning
  • Use performance data to provide targeted instruction and support individual student growth
  • Analyze and adjust lessons to meet diverse learning needs, including collaborating with special education staff to modify curricula
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel respected, challenged, and motivated
  • Balance high academic expectations with opportunities for collaborative activities and exploration
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress
  • Participate in coaching, professional development, and school community events
