MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A full-time Middle School Resource Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year, starting August 6th and concluding May 21st, in Avondale, AZ. This contract role supports middle school students by providing tailored instructional support and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional strategies and interventions to middle school students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate small group or one-on-one instruction to enhance academic skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents and staff to support student success.
• Promote a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching credentials with a focus on middle school education.
• Experience working in a resource or special education setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum adaptations and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families.
