BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher focusing on middle school students, specifically 6th and 7th grade. This role is ideal for educators passionate about supporting diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. The assignment commences on August 14, 2025, and concludes on December 22, 2025, following a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:40 pm, with a 40-minute lunch break.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of 15 students, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with staff and families, and adapting instructional methods to meet each student’s unique needs.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials or certifications.
• Experience working with middle school-aged students (6th and 7th grade).
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and support students with diverse learning requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
