Role Overview
To support our vision of empowered young women challenging and transforming the world, we are currently seeking a Middle School Teacher - Mathematics and Science. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Middle School Principal, Middle School Vice-Principal, and the Middle School teaching team and will be responsible for the development and delivery of creative and innovative inquiry based programming, while meeting the individual needs of all students in the classroom. Candidates with experience facilitating STEAM and Robotics learning including Makerspace learning are encouraged to apply.
Position Details Department: Middle School
Reports to: Principal, Middle School
Liaises with: Principal, Middle School, Middle School Faculty Education: Bachelor of Education, Ontario Teacher Certification
Experience: 3+ years experience teaching at Middle School level, applicants with experience teaching Grade 9 mathematics to Grade 8 students are encouraged to apply
Experience in a non-profit setting (asset)
Experience in an Independent School (asset)
