For our client we are looking for a Middleware Engineer for DC migration project, to join the team in an onsite working model. The following technical qualifications are required to carry out Middleware project tasks. Knowledge of tools and application environments: BMC Control-M Oracle Application Express (APEX) Oracle Data Integrator 12c Oracle Internet Directory 11g / 12c Oracle Forms 11g / 12c Oracle Reports 11g / 12c Oracle Rest Data Service (ORDS) Oracle Service Bus 11g / 12c Oracle WebLogic 11g / 12c PL/SQL Perl / Powershell / Shell / Bash / Python Rundeck / Ansible You will be expected to: · Closely work with FTS Application & Middleware Team carrying out BAU tasks; · Closely work with PMs driving the subsequent actions building, testing and migrating to new environments, not excluding preparation and placement of infrastructure build, configuration or access request and addressing blockers on the road; · Diagnosing and solving technical problems; · Monitoring environments for performance and reliability; · Produce of quality, live documentation (using Confluence). Individuals performing the services are expected to have following characteristics: · Recognizing the challenges related to application migration from one data center to the other; · Experience working in similar roles / projects (application migrations); · Excellent communication skills, good written and spoken Polish and English language and ability to work with variety of SMEs from several countries and socialize the technical scope, challenges and solutions among them; · Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring and resilience aspects for semi real time online transaction systems and mass transaction processing systems; · Understanding of infrastructure aspects, network solutions, load balancing, TLS; · Responsibility: care for product quality, making and keeping commitments; · Cooperation: the ability to share knowledge and experience, find compromises, build correct relationships within the local organization and in the corporation.
Responsibilities
The role involves closely working with the FTS Application & Middleware Team on Business As Usual tasks and collaborating with Project Managers to drive building, testing, and migrating applications to new environments. Responsibilities also include diagnosing technical problems, monitoring environments for performance, and producing quality documentation.
