The Opportunity Can Packaging loader RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties: * Packing of can products in a timely and safe manner, maintaining highest quality standard * Communicate with Can Packaging Operator or Can Packaging Lead on any quality or safety concerns * Assist Can Packaging Operator in controlling code dates, expiration dates, labels, stickers and any item unique to product specifications * Assist Can Packaging Operator in controlling product quality, contamination, weight control and line efficiency * Completes general cleaning of production areas during change overs * Perform all sanitation duties needed at the line * Pushing and pulling of baskets up to 800 pounds * Monitoring semi-automatic equipment * All other duties as assigned SAFETY * Attend safety trainings * Follow all safety instructions and policies * Report any injuries or near miss accidents to supervisor * Report any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor * Wear required PPE that is determined by site ENVIRONMENTAL * Keep work area clean and free of debris FOOD SAFETY * Assist in maintaining all sanitation schedules * Attend food safety trainings * Follow all GMPs and food safety instructions JOB QUALIFICATIONS * Self-motivation * Learning, memorizing and executing a sequence of procedures * Basic computer skills * Able to push and pull baskets (400 - 800) PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS * Continuous standing and walking * Occasional bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling * Occasional climbing and reaching above shoulder level * Occasionally squatting * Continuously pushing and pulling baskets (400 - 800 pounds) Benefits * Holiday pay * Paid Time Off, with an additional day for your birthday! * Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance * FSA, Medical & Dependent Care * Short Term & Long Term Disability * Life Insurance * Pet Insurance * 401K with company match
