Description Validus Energy/Blue Mountain Midstream is seeking a qualified Pipeline Operator out of our Tuttle, OK cryo plant who is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of crude oil, natural gas, or refined products pipelines and related facilities (e.g., compressor stations, pump stations, storage tanks). This role involves monitoring system performance, performing regular inspections, responding to operational issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Reports to Pipeline Manager. Responsibilities Monitor pipeline operations using SCADA systems and field instrumentation to ensure efficient flow of hydrocarbons. Operate and maintain pumps, valves, compressors, and other midstream equipment. Perform daily inspections of pipeline routes, facilities, and equipment to identify and address issues proactively. Execute startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures in accordance with company policies. Respond promptly to alarms, leaks, or abnormalities, and coordinate with emergency response teams as necessary. Maintain accurate records of flow volumes, pressures, maintenance activities, and compliance inspections. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance tasks and assist with repairs. Ensure adherence to DOT, PHMSA, OSHA, and environmental regulations. Communicate effectively with control room operators, technicians, and third-party contractors. Participate in safety meetings, training, and incident investigations Be the face of the company in the communities in which we operate and always work to be a good neighbor with a high level of integrity Perform other related responsibilities as required or assigned. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience: Operator Qualification (OQ) for DOT Minimum of 3 years Pipeline Operator experience Preferred Experience: Anadarko Basin experience Knowledge and experience with OnPing automation platform Knowledge and experience with PHMSA regulations Physical Requirements Ability to tolerate prolonged shifts involving standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying weights of up to 50 lbs. Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, including H2S, as well as prolonged exposure to outdoor work conditions, including extreme cold, hot and/or adverse weather conditions, and loud machinery, and may require appropriate personal protective equipment. Must possess a current, valid driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle. Subject to call-outs to respond to operational issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays. The qualified candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and not require company sponsorship.
