Description

VCCP is the global challenger network for challenger brands. With more than 1,500 people across 13 offices in North America, EMEA and APAC, we challenge convention to deliver value for the world’s most ambitious organisations. We believe transformation happens when everything works together. That’s why we bring specialists from every discipline - strategy, AI, data, media, digital, experience, branding, creativity, production, PR, CX, CRM, employee engagement and beyond - into one fully integrated network. We were founded on the principles of simplicity, collaboration and un-preciousness, and we’ve grown by staying true to them. Today, our clients include some of the world’s most recognisable and progressive brands, such as Virgin Media O2, Barclays, Cadbury, Compare the Market, Domino’s, White Claw, easyJet, Primark and Co-op. VCCP has topped the AAR’s annual new business ranking in 13 of the last 14 years and holds multiple Agency of the Year titles. Across every company and every capability, we share the same ambition: to challenge ourselves, challenge our clients and challenge the industry for the better. THE ROLE Faith is VCCP's AI Creative Agency, a focused, fast-moving team of talent from around the wider agency building campaigns, experiences and tools that put Gen-AI to genuinely creative use for clients including Virgin Media O2, British Gas, Cadbury and easyJet. We're looking for a Creative who treats AI as a way to challenge conventions and unlocknew, interesting experiences that make their work better; more than pumping out stuff quicker and cheaper. You'll have a regular flow of briefs from one of the most enviable client lists in the UK to work from, but the best candidates won't stop there. We want someone who's constantly tracking what's new in AI: new models, new tools, new behaviours; and asking "what could we do with this for our clients?" Being proactive is key to this role. VCCP is full of people, ready to help support and sell great ideas but initially you'll need to be comfortable working independently, developing your work to sell-in to your two managing Creative Directors, other teams across the agency, and to clients. If you're already building passion projects with AI in your own time because you just can’t help yourself, let’s talk. Key Responsibilities Learning Mindset: Demonstrate a passion for the Gen-AI space and the ability to stay updated with the latest in AI, from video and image models, to agent frameworks. Creatively Independent: Generating ideas proactively and from briefs focussed on Gen-AI and innovation. Constantly Curious: Staying across the latest AI developments and constantly asking what they could unlock creatively for our clients. Think it, build it: Building rapid proof-of-concept work at pace. Good enough to communicate the idea, not precious about polish at this stage Confident Communicator: Presenting concepts confidently to Creative Directors, internal teams, other agency verticals and clients. Model Proficiency: Prompt engineering across LLMs and applied use of image/video/music models and agentic platforms; willingness to develop deeper expertise in ComfyUI and model training where relevant. Collaborating: Work alongside our engineering team to integrate and refine AI models, aligning them with the agency's creative standards, tools and client requisites. Also helping traditional Creative Teams validate their AI ideas. Upskilling the wider agency: Contribute to delivering training for different audiences across VCCP. What We're Looking For The balance that matters here is roughly 60/40 creative-to-technical. We care more about ideas and the confidence to push them than your GitHub. Essential Strong creative instincts with a demonstrable ability to generate original, AI-native ideas Strong Art Direction background to inform quality image and video generations. Confidence presenting and selling concepts verbally, in decks and in rooms Solid working knowledge of LLMs, image generation models and prompt engineering Self-motivation and entrepreneurial energy, you make things happen without being told to Fast prototyping ability, you can mock something up well enough to communicate the idea Comfort with ambiguity and a lean, independent way of working in this very fast moving AI tech space Useful but not required Experience with ComfyUI, Antigravity/Claude Code, OpenClaw/Hermes and custom model training experience e.g. training LoRAs Python, API and MCP development experience A background in design, advertising, digital or a related creative field A degree in a relevant subject is fine, but we'd take a strong portfolio of self-initiated AI work over a Computer Science certificate any day. VCCP DE&I STATEMENT We believe that DE&I is about creating a strong culture of inclusion within our agency, where everyone can thrive and be their authentic self. VCCP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status, or ethnicity. If you require any adjustments during the application or interview process, please let us know via joinus@vccp.com. CRIMINAL RECORDS INFORMATION As part of our onboarding process, you will be required to complete a Criminal Records Declaration regarding any unspent convictions. For roles in finance, HR, Legal, IT or senior management, we may be required to verify your declaration with a basic DBS check, as well as an Adverse Finance and ID check.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute AI-native creative campaigns and tools for high-profile clients. Proactively track AI developments to build rapid proof-of-concepts and upskill the wider agency.
