JOB SUMMARY:

We are searching for a qualified, high energy, ambitious Compression Account Manager candidate who is ready to join our sales team. The Compression Account Manager is responsible for developing revenues by implementing and supporting new and existing sales strategies and gaining market share and providing customer support within specific sales territories. The Account Manager position is a customer interfacing member of the commercial team which will require effective collaboration to achieve yearly objectives both individually and corporate.
NOTE: Experience with Integral Reciprocating Compressor (engine and compressor share same crankshaft) is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel ~50-75% of the time throughout the geographic territory- Overnights and Day Travel
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Seek out new prospects and continue to interact with existing customers.
  • Responsible for promoting and selling reciprocating product(s), services, and parts.
  • Profitable yearly sales growth
  • Deliver all aspects of client service, development, growth and maintenance.
  • Work effectively with internal operations, scheduling, and sales
  • Maintain customer information, contacts, and opportunities within organizations CRM.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Integral Reciprocating Compressor (engine and compressor share same crankshaft) is a must.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in upstream, midstream and or downstream compression
  • Experience within Greenfield and Brownfield projects with rotating equipment
  • Immense verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Have working knowledge of oil & gas industry experience with a focus in sales.
  • Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for assistance when appropriate.
  • CRM experience (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
  • Understands financial reports: profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow. Interpret results and translates into focused actions.

Education and Experience:

  • Outside sales experience in providing technical solution-based products and services to the energy industry.
  • Experience within Greenfield and Brownfield projects with rotating equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
