Our client in Weert is a fast-growing, forward-thinking supplier with around 80 employees. The company is a specialist in large-format laser cutting, precision edging, and complex welding projects, particularly in steel and non-ferrous metals. Their operations are supported by a highly qualified welding department, guided by both an International Welding Technologist (IWT) and an International Welding Engineer (IWE)..
They are currently expanding and looking for skilled MIG/MAG welders to join their team for long-term projects involving the construction of city bus chassis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for welding tubing on city bus chassis, following drawings and work instructions to ensure strong, precise, low-deformation welds. This includes:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a MIG/MAG welder
• Ability to read drawings (even partial)
• Basic English proficiency (you must be able to manage independently)
• Attention to detail and ability to minimize deformation
• Background in mechanical engineering or bus/chassis work is a plus

• MIG/MAG welding of tubular components (4–5 x 2 m² pieces)
• Partial work from technical drawings
• Insertion and alignment of materials
• Dimension checking and quality control
• Tool setup and adjustment
• Complying with safety, environmental, and quality standards
