Our client is a growing supplier based in Weert with around 80 employees. They specialize in large-format laser cutting, edging, and complex welded assemblies. As experts in processing and assembling steel and non-ferrous metals, they handle high tonnages and large formats with ease – from one-off pieces to medium-sized series.
Their welding department is led by experienced professionals, including an International Welding Technologist (IWT) and an International Welding Engineer (IWE). The company is dynamic, innovative, and continuously adapting to market demands.

Job Description:

As a MIG/MAG Welder, your main tasks will include:

• Welding connections based on technical drawings and work instructions
• Preparing materials and selecting proper tools
• Cleaning and aligning materials before welding
• Adjusting equipment correctly for optimal performance
• Following safety, environmental, and quality regulations
• Welding tubes onto chassis for city buses
• Tasks include: insertion, welding, checking dimensions, partial work from drawing, and composing components
• Tubes to be welded: approx. 4–5 meters x 2 m², requiring precise and clean work to avoid deformation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG/MAG welder
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Basic English communication skills (you must be able to manage independently)
• Experience in mechanical engineering or chassis/bus construction is a plus
• Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail
