Description Job Type Full-time Description Hours: 5am - 3:30pm M - Th Job Summary As a Structural Welder, you'll be setting up and operating MIG standard and pulse welders to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This role requires 0-3 years of welding experience, as well as welding certifications or relevant training. In addition to welding, the Structural Welder will also be operating hoists, cranes, riggings, and forklifts to move equipment from one location to another. This role will also require regular use of assembly drawings, assembly instructions, solid models, bills of materials, and blueprints. Job Duties and Responsibilities Operate and set up MIG standard and pulse welders, selecting gas ratios Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Work with sheet metal, tube steel, channel, I-beam, and plate steel Position, align, and fit components together using fixturing Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position for welding according to blueprints and specifications Use engineering and manufacturing documents (bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, and solid models) Operate hoists, cranes, riggings, and forklifts to move equipment from one location to another Maintain shop inventory and cleanliness Skills and Qualifications 0-3 years of previous MIG welding experience Welding certification OR relevant training Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. regularly High school diploma OR equivalent (required) Pre-employment background check (required) Pre-employment drug screen (required) Benefits PTO/ESST Paid holidays $100 individual deductible and $300 family deductible health insurance Paid weekly Vision and Dental Insurance 401K / Life Insurance / STD
