Position: Class B MIG Welder – 2nd Shift Schedule: Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-1:30 am Pay Rate: $20-22 + $2.00/hr Shift Differential Job Purpose As a Class B Welder, you will play a critical role as an experienced welders. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your exceptional welding skills to meet production output levels while maintaining outstanding attendance. This position is tailored for welders and fabricators with a minimum of 6 months of experience or skills that exceed the C level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proficient in MIG welding; will weld on Doors, Sills, Handels, and Tanks including some Stainless welding. Tack weld efficiently Grind when applicable Versatility in Position: Willingness to work and train in various welding positions on Cell 5, encompassing welding, tacking, stud, or bung weld tasks. Blueprint and Part List Reading: Read and comprehend blueprints and part lists to ensure accurate welding and assembly. Measurement Skills: Be proficient in reading a tape measure for precise measurements; preferred skill. Safe Tool Usage: Utilize shop tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks without compromising safety. Physical Strength: Possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand the entire shift. PPE Compliance: Knowledge and consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the job. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required Specialized Knowledge and Experience Trade School or minimum of 6 months experience in MIG Welding.
