JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join Xcel’s client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding large metal components following specifications and blueprints. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Position: 3rd shift Production Welder/Fabricator
Sunday - Thursday - 10 hour shifts
7:30 pm - 6:00 am (Train on 1st shift)
This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers.

• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting, and measuring tools.
• Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
• Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Lift and carry heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
