REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience operating forklifts (valid certification is a plus)
  • Familiarity with shop tools and safe work practices
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Ability to work with work with HSS squares, tubes, angles, round bars, flat bars etc.
  • Experienced using horizontal saw, ironworkers, drill presses, and pedestal grinders
  • Familiar with general shop machinery and power tools
  • Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and third angle projection
  • Forklift and crane certification would be a plus
  • Able to work independently and assist others to achieve common goal
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter, willingness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re seeking an Experienced Welder/Fabricator who is comfortable working independently and from technical drawings. This role is ideal for someone with strong welding and fabrication skills, who can interpret detailed plans, cut materials accurately, and assist with material handling, including forklift use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Weld (MIG and/or TIG) various metals, primarily steel
  • Fabricate parts and assemblies for custom conveyor systems
  • Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Use hand tools, power tools, saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
  • Operate forklifts to move and stage materials
  • Perform quality checks on work to ensure accuracy and alignment with drawings
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members on custom builds
