Description Measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop (included but not limited to sanders, drills, air, and electric hand cutting tools) Material fit ups and layouts with steel MIG Welding as part of a team Position and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, etc. Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions Sanding/grinding Breaking out steel Steel panel assembly with bolt together construction Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent, required Welding Certification or Diploma, required MIG Welding experience, required Able to use power tools Able to read tape measure Able to lift 50 lbs Able to read blueprints Able to troubleshoot and problem solve Must be highly motivated Able to communicate and work well with others Read, write, and speak English fluently Must have reliable transportation Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Tomball Controls is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
