Description
Skillforce is hiring experienced MIG Welders and Metal Fabricators to support production at a well-established power equipment manufacturer in Henrico, VA. You will be fabricating metal enclosures and structural assemblies for industrial power systems using MIG and other welding processes. Pay is up to $32/hr based on your skillset and experience. Welder Responsibilities: * Fabricate metal enclosures, frames, and structural components from raw materials using MIG welding as the primary process * Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications * Set up and operate welding machinery, grinders, and fabrication equipment required for assigned tasks * Select appropriate welding materials, rods, and consumables based on job requirements * Conduct visual inspections of finished welds to ensure structural integrity, quality standards, and customer specifications are met * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all shop safety protocols Welder Qualifications: * 3+ years of hands-on welding/fabrication experience required * Proficient MIG welding is required — this is the primary process used on the job * TIG welding experience is a plus * Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings * Strong attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship * Your own reliable transportation and valid driver's license Benefits: * Weekly pay * Holiday pay and paid time off * Medical, dental and vision insurance * 401(k) * Referral bonus
