Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Migration Support Specialist to support critical data migration projects within a growing insurance platform. This role is similar to a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on data mapping, validation, and system transitions. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth migrations from legacy systems into modern platforms, with an emphasis on Vertafore products such as AIM, AMS360, and Surefire.
This role requires strong insurance operations knowledge (Property & Casualty, Wholesale/MGA preferred), attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure successful migrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in planning and executing system migration projects.
  • Analyze, compare, and validate data across systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Map data during acquisitions (3–5 per year) and set up products on new platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including IT, operations, and business leaders.
  • Merge carrier lists, configure products, and support testing activities.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure integrity throughout migration cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues pre- and post-go-live.
  • Support users and document progress/issues for stakeholders.
  • Participate in Saturday go-live smoke testing twice per month.
