Description

Position Title: QA Engineer Job Description: • Write and execute test plans and test cases for software development • Perform manual testing of web-based business applications and APIs • Create and manage test data • Work within an Agile development team to enable frequent deployments and releases • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify testing requirements • Contribute to product release documentation • Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvement • Perform other testing-related duties as needed Required: • Enthusiasm for improving software quality and for automating quality assurance processes • 5+ years’ experience in a software quality assurance role in an agile software development organization • Knowledge of test plan development • Proficiency in testing all layers of line-of-business software applications, including presentation (front-end), persistence (data), services, and APIs Not required but helpful: • ISTQB CTFL certification • University-level training in computer science, engineering, math, business, programming, or other applicable field • Recent hands-on experience with Selenium or Postman Location: Fully remote (Brazil)
