The Military Account Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between military clients and the Company. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating military accounts, ensuring seamless communication, and providing exceptional customer service. The Military Account Coordinator will work closely with logistics and operations teams to meet the needs of military clients and deliver high-quality service and accuracy. The Military Account Coordinator will report to the Military Sales Manager and Military Customer Service Manager. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and update shipping logs for current, upcoming and future shipments, ensuring all relevant parties are informed. Process container bookings using a government run booking program. Complete and maintain preliminary Bill of Lading documents, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Coordinate the delivery of merchandise with the Purchasing Department to meet required deadlines. Communicate with customers to assist in building and modifying their orders. Conduct quality checks for products moving through the warehouse, specifically for overseas shipments. Prepare weekly paperwork and labeling documentation for warehouse processing. Assist Military Sales Manager and Military Customer Service Manager in special projects as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in international commercial exporting is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite is a must and AS400 is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in data entry and 10-key by touch. Highly organized to meet weekly deadlines and cutoffs. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage frequent interruptions. Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Team player, able to collaborate effectively under pressure to meet department goals. Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone keyboard, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Time Speaking and Listening: 80% - 100%. Concentration: Constant. Work Conditions: Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, navigate tense situations and communicate professionally with persons of all backgrounds. Work may be repetitious, stressful and with little time in between calls. Will work in a cubicle in close proximity to other Military Department Personnel. On occasion may need to enter the warehouse, which can be cold.
