SUMMARY

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a Military Pay Technician for the 266th Finance Center of Excellence, performing a variety of military pay, separation, and special action processing which requires application of a series of different and unrelated methods, practices, and techniques.

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

• Perform comprehensive review and determine eligibility of military pay documentation for service members to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Prepare, consolidate and audit a variety of military payment documentation (e.g., allotment, vouchers, leave, pay option, TSP forms, etc…) and electronically process through a variety automated system.
• Perform a variety of military pay, separation, and special actions processing which require application of a series of different and unrelated methods, practices, and techniques.
• Receive and resolve problem cases involving over payment or under payment of members for prior periods of service.
• Utilize travel and financial management automated system to track and prepare government travel vouchers for payment.
