In this role you will use a comprehensive knowledge of financial/business concepts, contract management, processes and procedures in accordance with contract requirements, managing the business within cross-functional areas. As Program Manager, you will be in charge of driving the program cross functionally to meet Company’s targets, mitigate risks and maximize Customer satisfaction. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the execution of contracts, maximizing benefits and opportunities: Create and execute an integrated plan to meet Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives Define, update and monitor budget, business plan, economics, financials, program and contract KPI (OTD, VoC, etc) Actively identify and manage risks and keep risk register update Execute activities to address customer concerns to maximize Customer satisfaction Lead the interfunctional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.) Flow-down the contract requirements and the Customer demand to GSC Drive the Program Control Board and the Configuration Management meetings Support the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer's needs through the negotiations and until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting Support the preparation of program reviews with Customer, in accordance with the contractual and customer expectations Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, EV etc.) at the operating rhythm (WOR, MOR, QMI, Cash Flow, etc) Prepare and archive the documentation sent to the Customer (PO acceptance, official letters, cost sheets) Establish regular communication pattern, keeping Program Director, team and Customers informed about program status, significant developments and business issues Qualifications/Requirements Engineering bachelor’s degree from an accredited University (Industrial/Management) Sense of urgency in dealing with complex issues and tasks Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a matrix team/organization Excellent collaboration, organizational and change agent skills Fluent written and spoken Italian and English Willingness and ability to travel for meetings Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to lead cross functional and customer / supplier teams Strong conflict resolution skills Strong business and financial acumen Strong influencing skills in a global environment Knowledge and expertise in Planning / Scheduling / Monitoring / Cost Controls Specific knowledge of aero engines, military environment, overhaul and repair processes Able to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including upper management Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience Lean mindset This position has been opened with the goal of building a strategic pipeline of external talent.
