Workforce Inc. is currently seeking Mill Labourers! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the mining industry, no previous experience working in a mill setting is required!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment is highly regarded.
  • Basic Mill Process Operator Common Core is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as independently
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities
  • Perform various physical tasks as required, such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials
  • Assist mill operators with routine checks and adjustments to maintain production efficiency
  • Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision and perform minor maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the mill
  • Work in compliance with prescribed company policies and procedures.
  • Be proactive with company safety initiatives
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Shift Supervisor and/or Operations General Foreman
