We are looking to recruit a Mill Operative to work with our Manufacturing client who is based on the outskirts of Ashford, on a full time temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business who is one of the leaders within their market and offer an excellent package for their staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE OF ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

• Feeding products in a variety of different machinery
• Use different hand tools including tape measures, drills, nail guns and screw drivers
• Resize and sand materials for re use
• You will be able to follow direction well and demonstrate a good eye to detail

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE OF ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

• Must be able to work in a continuous environment
• Must be able to lift heavy items including bending
• Must have used power tools previously
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE including dusk masks
• Must be able to work in a physical role
