W.E. Jameson’s supply animal feed to farmers in the North of England. We offer compounds and blends for dairy, beef and sheep farmers. We can also design mixed blends to match your forages and the feeds available on-farm. Our nutritional expertise offers customers efficient solutions to feeding on farm. We also supply a range of soya, rapeseed meal, brewers grains, molasses, fodder beet etc. We also stock a great range of grass and fodder seed, as well as cereal seed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Training provided for use of driving JCB style loading shovel and forklifts.
Operating machinery using process control software, a basic knowledge of computers required.
A good standard of house keeping is required to meet our UFAS feed assurance.
Manual lifting 25kg bags of animal feed/ supplements or minerals, some roles will be physically demanding at times.
Weighbridge operation, taking samples and following the TASCC code of practice
Health and Safety for themselves and work colleagues
Full comprehensive training provided for all operations

As a production operative you will learn all aspects of the Animal feed Production, be part of a highly skilled team producing animal feed to the highest standards. Applicants should be adaptable to different roles within the production facility as required.
