Description Purpose of Function: This function loads pucks on the mills, adds the milling strategy to the milling computer, and removes pucks from the mills. Main Tasks/Responsibilities/Authorities: Main Tasks: Review work-order notes to verify correct puck size and shade Select correct work order digital file Load puck according to specifications Remove puck from mill Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and safe work environment Alert Manager of any repair needs of other areas of concern with regard to the facility Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment Assist in manufacturing processes as directed Assist in engineering processes as directed Perform a variety of tasks to support the day to day operations of the business Requirements Function Requirements: (education, experience, competences, etc) The Milling technician should have a high school degree or equivalent. Computer skills are required. Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions and using equipment, preferably a CNC mill, is desired.
Responsibilities
The Milling Technician is responsible for loading and unloading pucks on the mills and ensuring the correct milling strategy is applied. They must maintain a clean work environment and assist in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
