Description Tague Lumber is hiring a Millwork Division Sales Representative for our Custom Millwork Division. This position will work out of our Phoenixville location and will require travel to other locations and customer sites. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience and knowledge of millwork. Job Description and Responsibilities: Training & Product Knowledge • Become familiar with and trained in Tague Lumber’s computer systems, procedures, and sales philosophy. Including, but not limited to, Bistrack and CAD software. • Receive training in the full range of custom millwork products offered by Tague Lumber. The sale of non-stock materials has always been an intrinsic part of Tague Lumber’s “Total Package” philosophy. Sales Development • Develop new business opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and designers while maintaining existing customer relationships. • Promote and increase sales of custom millwork and door shop products. Customer & Sales Support • Act as a technical resource for sales teams across all Tague locations regarding custom millwork products and capabilities. • Prepare cost estimates for custom millwork jobs. • Communicate realistic lead times and project expectations based on current production capacity and job complexity. Project Definition & Documentation • Perform field visits, when required, to obtain accurate measurements for custom millwork projects. • Provide sketches, notes, and supporting photos for non-standard or custom work. • Review approved sales orders and ensure all project details are accurate and complete before releasing the job to drafting. • Ensure all required information is documented including quantities, materials, grades, dimensions, and any special production requirements. Requirements Must have a valid driver's license Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Responsibilities
The representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and promoting custom millwork sales while acting as a technical resource for sales teams across all locations. Key duties include preparing cost estimates, communicating project expectations, and ensuring accurate documentation before releasing jobs to drafting.
