We are seeking a Millwork Drafter to join our growing team. We specialize in custom residential projects encompassing not only kitchens, closets, wine cellars, home theatres and everything in between.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Organized and self-motivated, decisive, and responsible
• Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and specifications
• Able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks, prioritize tasks, work closely with Senior Designer/Project Manager, and ability to meet deadlines
• Participate in Design meetings, prepare and discuss notes with Senior Designer/Project Manager
• Interprets and carries out creative ideas proposed by Senior Designer/Project Manager and/or Clients and provide own ideas during design stages.
• Work with Senior Designer/Project Manager to resolve design problems, discuss project criteria, and facilitate smooth project coordination
• Convert Architectural Millwork Elevations into Shop Drawings & Layouts
• Use design software to create 2D and 3D representations of proposed designs
• Positive attitude, dependable and team player
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Experience:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture is preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in Kitchen Cabinetry is mandatory
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Fluent in Google Sketch Up (or 3D modelling equivalent: Auto Kitchen, Revit, etc.)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office + Dropbox.

Salary:

• Based on Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
