Description
There are woodworking companies, and then there are artisans' guilds. Our client has spent more than three decades building a reputation as a premier provider of fine interior woodwork, custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and one-of-a-kind furniture for the most discerning homeowners and luxury residential builders in the country — executing their craft out of a 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility with a team of more than 70 passionate artisans and support staff. This is not a production environment. Every project is hand-selected, every detail is worked out before a single piece of wood is cut, and every client receives white glove service from first conversation through final installation. They are looking for a Millwork Project Manager / Estimator who brings the same standard of excellence to the business side of a project that their craftspeople bring to the shop floor. What You'll Own Develop detailed, itemized estimates and proposals for custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and fine interior woodwork scopes on luxury residential projects Build accurate cost models grounded in historical data, material specifications, interior design drawings, and scope of work documentation Manage assigned projects from kickoff through final punch — coordinating shop production, installers, material procurement, and scheduling across all phases Perform or oversee field measuring at project sites to ensure shop drawings and fabrication reflect actual conditions Conduct shop drawing reviews and quality inspections throughout the production and installation process Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact throughout the project lifecycle — communicating proactively, managing expectations, and delivering the white glove experience the organization is known for Coordinate integrated materials including metal work, glass, mirror, stone, and hardware with the procurement team to ensure seamless execution Track budgets, change orders, and schedules across multiple concurrent luxury projects without losing detail or urgency Demonstrated experience in architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, or fine interior woodwork — specifically in luxury residential environments; commercial millwork experience alone will not be considered A background that reflects genuine familiarity with how high-end millwork projects are designed, estimated, built, and installed — not just managed from a distance Strong estimating skills with the ability to produce detailed, itemized proposals from interior design drawings and specifications Professional, polished communication style appropriate for client-facing work in luxury residential settings Meticulous attention to detail and finish quality — you notice what others miss Ability to manage multiple high-end projects simultaneously without sacrificing the standard that each one demands Experience with field measuring, shop drawing review, and quality inspection processes Southwest Florida market familiarity is a plus; relocation to the Naples area is required Paid time off and company holidays Opportunities for long-term growth within a well-established, quality-driven organization A steady pipeline of hand-selected luxury residential projects across some of the most exclusive communities in the country A collaborative, craft-forward culture where every department works shoulder-to-shoulder from concept through installation
