Position Title: Millwork Project Manager

Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000+ annually, depending on experience

JOB OVERVIEW:

Valley Custom Woodwork Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Millwork Project Manager to join our growing team of millwork professionals. This role is at the heart of our operations-serving as the key liaison between our clients and internal departments. The Millwork Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution from shop drawings to delivery, ensuring each custom job is completed on time, within budget, and to our exceptional standards.
You’ll be managing communication, coordinating teams, reviewing plans, and keeping projects aligned with client expectations. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in project management, preferably within custom millwork, cabinetry, or construction industries.
  • Strong architectural blueprint reading skills and familiarity with submittal processes.
  • Knowledge of CAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar CAD-CAM software.
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for precision.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring alignment between client expectations and internal execution.
  • Coordinate with customers, sales, engineering, materials, and production scheduling teams.
  • Manage engineering deliverables including shop drawings, submittals, CAD drawings, and Cabinet Vision outputs.
  • Oversee and confirm all project specs including color selections, sink cut-outs, hardware, and construction details.
  • Submit and secure approval for all shop drawings and revisions.
  • Schedule and manage field measurements and delivery timelines.
  • Review markups and field data to initiate and track change orders as needed.
  • Finalize production paperwork and assist in job handoff to the shop floor.
  • Maintain up-to-date production calendars and communicate project status regularly.
  • Assist the estimating team with project takeoffs and bid support.
