WKC is looking to increase our team in our Millwork Shop. We are looking for experienced millwork cabinetmakers versed in a variety of skills and with the ability to move a project from start to finish. Must be a self starter and capable of working alone or with a small team. Our company prides itself on quality and the selected individual should demonstrate this in their work.
The candidate would be building cabinets and various millwork without the use of CNC machines or presses.
Task would include but not be limited to:
-Cutting up and preparing materials using a variety of equipment and tools around the shop from tables saws to routers.
-Assembling prepared materials into cabinets, reception desks, and other custom designed millwork.
-Finishing millwork and materials from applying plastic laminate to prepping for stain and lacquer.
-Creating cut lists.
-Maintaining a tidy work area.

The qualified candidate should have:

• Cabinet making experience
• great attention to detail
• precision
• self motivated to do their best and driven to improve their own skills
• punctual
• good communication skills and works well with others
• no CNC experience needed
• fluent English communications skills both oral and written

Pay will be based on skill and experience.
