OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at performing maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler operations is preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with established standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other trades, including HVAC technicians and industrial electricians, to ensure comprehensive maintenance support.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
  • Conduct analysis on equipment performance to recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
