On behalf of our valued client in the Steel Fabrication industry, we are looking for a day shift millwright/industrial mechanic reporting to their Mississauga plant.
Day Shift
Wage: Up to 44.25$/HR
Position Overview
Are you a certified Millwright or Industrial Mechanic looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturing team? As an integral part of the Maintenance Team, you’ll be responsible for keeping production systems operating at peak efficiency while supporting the integration of new equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of production equipment and facilities, including large-scale bridge cranes (up to 25 tons)
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and calibrate machinery
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades
  • Carry out core Millwright duties in alignment with safety, quality, and production targets

What You Bring

  • Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machining systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Machining experience is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts (day/evening, including weekends)
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Additional Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and manual handling
  • Must be able to work in tight spaces and at heights
  • Strong visual acuity and ability to concentrate on detailed tasks

Work Environment:

  • Industrial steel fabrication facility
  • Exposure to noise, heat, vibration, fumes, and moving machinery
  • Strict adherence to PPE usage and safety protocols
  • This is a safety-sensitive role
