Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a Licensed Maintenance Millwright to join their dynamic team. This is a crucial role that offers a chance to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment. As a Licensed Maintenance Millwright, you will be an integral part of the maintenance department, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing directly to the success of the manufacturing operation. Location: Guelph
Shift: Afternoons (Monday to Friday) 2:50pm to 11pm
Rate: $45-48

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Industrial Millwright with a valid 433A or Inter-Provincial Red Seal certification.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a production facility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and welding.
  • A valid Lift truck license (reach truck/propane).
  • Scissor Lift License and Fall Arrest certification are considered assets.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call for emergency situations.
  • Regular, predictable, and on-site attendance is an essential function of the job

Responsibilities
  • Repair all machine emergency breakdowns and schedule non-emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Conduct minor electrical and/or electronic repairs, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Monitor all manufacturing equipment and perform routine and preventative maintenance when required.
  • Weld material using in-house equipment for repairs and fabrication.
  • Assist with the general maintenance of the company building, including offices, to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
