We are currently looking for a Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic at our main office location in Red Deer, AB. What do we offer? * 40-hour work week, 8:00am to 4:30pm * Full complement of company benefits after 3 months * Access to Employee and Family Assistance Program * RetireSmart Program after 6 months * Paid vacation and personal time * Annual PPE allowance * Annual Wellness allowance * Perkopolis membership (discount app) * Company events including BBQs, Holiday party, and Canalta Day What will you do? * Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facility systems * Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime * Install, maintain, and repair equipment including CNC machinery, overhead cranes, compressors, HVAC systems, boilers, hydraulic systems, and mobile equipment * Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete maintenance and installation work * Complete maintenance work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company safety standards * Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and facility maintenance * Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively * Maintain maintenance inventory, spare parts, and accurate maintenance records using Business Central (BC) * Support apprentice training and collaborate with team members to improve maintenance operations * Assist with general facility upkeep and travel as required to support operational needs What do you need? * Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic / Millwright * Backflow device prevention certification * Minimum 5 years experience * Class 5 driver's license * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm Overtime may be required as needed.
