EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) with proven hands-on industrial maintenance experience.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding systems.
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for maintenance documentation and technical data management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Dedicated to workplace safety and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • We conduct a criminal Record Check on all new hires
  • We conduct a Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Check on all new hires; must be able to give 3 references to help verify your identity
Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, electrical, and control systems efficiently.
  • Assemble, modify, install, and repair machinery, fixtures, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, and gearboxes.
  • Perform welding and cutting torch operations for repairs and fabrication tasks.
  • Analyze the root causes of equipment failures and recurring production issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Enhance and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment in strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to machine technicians and apprentices, fostering skill development.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance processes.
