  • Completed training and hold accreditation for millwright.
  • Prior experience as a Millwright.
  • 3 to 5 years maintenance work experience necessary
  • Must have knowledge of TDG, FAA, DOT and IATA
  • Fabrication skills

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and mechanical equipment that moves, filters, or processes paint and related materials, housing units and electrical systems.
  • Repair safety and sanitation issues in work areas using the necessary tools.
  • Repair and maintain production line equipment, pumps, tanks, and conveyors.
  • Clean and repair piping systems, Build or modify machinery.
  • Repair, Fabricate and weld necessary components to maintain equipment.
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation, Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Promptly complete maintenance work orders as assigned.
  • Operate a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools including saws, routers, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses, and different hand tools.
  • Identify and perform basic service and repair on plumbing fixtures; open clogged lines and drains.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommend tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase.
  • Respond to 24-hour emergency calls
  • Adjust hours as necessary may required occasional overtime and weekend work.
  • Knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures while using chemicals, power tools, hand tools, and equipment; knowledge of proper lifting techniques
  • Operate heavy equipment, forklift, scissor and boom lifts.
  • Understanding of building codes and “International Building Code” (IBC)
  • Help move, load, unload, and storing supplies, furniture, and equipment.
  • Wear proper protective equipment while performing job responsibilities (i.e., goggles, helmet, back brace, knee pads).
  • Effective communication skills with students, employees, faculty, and the general public.
