Our client in Burlington (403 and Appleby Line) is seeking a skilled Millwright to join their high-performing maintenance team in a precision-driven manufacturing facility.
Shift 6am- 2pm - Monday to Friday
The position is for day shift, but coverage over nights and afternoons may be required when other techs are on vacation. The shifts are dedicated now, but in the past they have been rotational. No plans to move to rotational now, but maybe a requirement at some point for day/afternoon and night shifts.
Pay:
$42-44 with Millwright license
$40-42 - without a license
Compensation: $42/hour
This role focuses heavily on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal equipment performance across all shifts.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with hands-on experience working with pumps, pneumatics, drive shafts, and gearboxes.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including pneumatic systems, gearboxes, and rotating machinery
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in pumps, pneumatics, and rotating components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
Strong communication skills and top notch punctuality
