REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Millwright or registered apprentices will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial plant maintenance.
• Experience with GMP and BRCGS food safety systems considered an asset.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Proficient with CMMS programs; quick to learn other computerized systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of flour mill operations and/or packaging equipment considered an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-directed; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work on a rotating schedule, including after-hours calls and weekends.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Millwright will be responsible for conducting routine preventive maintenance, service, repair, and upkeep of plant and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machinery and equipment is critical to achieving optimal production efficiency in plant operations
