Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Millwright at our Barrhead, AB. As a Millwright, you are responsible for providing maintenance support to maximize production and supply quality product to our customers. Responsibilities: Perform repairs and preventative maintenance Design, fabrication of parts to change equipment when necessary Use steam trap analysis including repairs to steam related equipment Maintain and update all schematics after work has been completed that pertain to the Mill Practice and enforce plant safety and food safety standards Investigate all reports of mechanical and operational problems in the Mill Communicate with management any failures found in the Mill Qualifications: Knowledge of maintenance practices, preventative and predictive maintenance Strong computer, math, electrical, welding, plumbing ad pipe fitting skills Perform work orders, unscheduled maintenance, and task forms with appropriate documentation, boiler water treatment, and RO monitoring Monday to Friday work schedule Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Must be capable of lifting and stacking 50 lbs Journeyman Red Seal Millwright certificate is required Welding experience considered an asset Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
